Delphine and Bruce came down from Paris to marry at the Domaine de Chanteraine. She wanted modern and fresh, nothing heavy, nothing that would make her unrecognisable to herself, and we spent close to a year getting there. That is the part nobody photographs: the conversations, the questions about her skin, the small decisions taken months in advance so that the morning itself holds no surprises. By the time the day arrived there was nothing left to work out. Only a joyful wedding, and a bride who looked entirely like herself.
