Getting Married in Autumn: A Skin Timeline for the Cooler Months

As summer fades, skin changes. The air dries, and the habits that served you in July need a gentle adjustment for an autumn wedding.

Three months before: steady the routine

Keep sun protection through the early autumn, when the light is still strong. Settle into a routine that suits you, and resist the urge to overhaul everything at once.

Two months before: add hydration

As the air cools, bring in a little more moisture. A hydrating serum, a richer moisturiser if your skin feels tight. The goal is supple, comfortable skin that holds makeup smoothly.

One month before: keep it calm

This is not the month for a new peel or a strong active. Protect what you have built. Gentle exfoliation if your skin is used to it, and plenty of rest.

The week of: hydrate and sleep

Water, sleep, and nothing new. Autumn skin loves a hydrating mask a few days before, then simply to be left calm.

On the morning

Your skin is prepared, hydrated and calm. My work is only to let it show. In soft autumn light, well-cared-for skin needs very little.

Skin follows the season. Meet it where it is, and it will glow.

Beauty is actually the easy part.
