Individual Lashes or Strips? What I Use on Brides and Why

Lashes are one of the smallest decisions of your wedding look, and one of the most visible. Here is how I think about them.

The difference

A strip lash is a full band applied in one piece. Individual lashes are small clusters placed where your own lashes need a little more. Strips make a statement. Individuals disappear into your own lashes and simply make them fuller.

Why I usually reach for individuals

For a natural look, I almost always use individual lashes. They follow the shape of your eye, they look like your own lashes on their best day, and no one can tell they are there. That invisibility is the point.

When a strip earns its place

Some brides want a little more, or have very sparse lashes where a strip gives a cleaner result. In that case I choose a fine, natural band, never a heavy one. It should still look like you.

Comfort and wear

Applied well, either kind is comfortable and lasts the whole day and night. We can test them at your trial, so by the morning you already know how they feel.

Small detail, big difference. We will find the one that looks the most like you.

Beauty is actually the easy part.
