Destination Wedding in Provence: What to Expect from Your Makeup Artist
Planning from London, New York or Copenhagen, you're choosing someone you've never met, for a morning that matters. Here's how it actually works.
Travel is part of the booking
I'm based in Manosque and travel across Provence and beyond. For venues further afield, I arrive the day before and stay locally, so your morning starts calm rather than with a long drive behind me. Travel is quoted transparently from the start, never added later.
The trial, from a distance
Many of my brides do their trial when they come over to visit their venue. Others do it the evening before the wedding, on site, which works beautifully and leaves you completely settled for the day itself.
Working in English
Every conversation, every document, every message. On the morning, I also translate between you and your hairstylist if needed. It removes one more thing to think about.
If you have a planner
I work with planners regularly and I'm happy to centralise everything through them, or to speak with you directly. Whichever way is simpler for you.
What doesn't change
Wherever you're coming from, the approach is the same. Your skin first, a real conversation before any product, and a result that still looks like you in every photograph.
Distance is logistics. The rest is exactly as it would be.
Beauty is actually the easy part.
